I'm looking forward to what you come up with. After failing to find any "Wild Horse Mesa" on the maps I decided the bar may have gotten its name from the Zane Gray novel which was turned into a couple of films. I tried to elicit some info on the place at the local convenience store, but the proprietor was not interested in communicating about the topic.

Sorry I didn't check back to read your reply earlier. I've been out there a couple times. Shot once with my Dolly Supersport and again with the Brownie Hawkeye Flash. Didn't really do justice to the subject either time. You made a better choice and got better results with the pinhole and caffenol.
